Dragon’s Den Candles: Astral Sea

An expanse of shimmering stars, forged silver, and charred crystals will have you suspended in an vast plane of emptiness. From here you can reach almost any corner of the cosmos, where will you go?

You lay back in on a cushy lounge as the archmage begins casting the spell of projection. You close your eyes tight for a moment and when you open them, everything is black. You feel weightless, as if suspended in air. The air here smells slightly sweeter then normal, but also a bit smoky, like hot metal.

Slowly, points of light and distant shimmering colors come into view. As you and your companions start to discuss which direction to head first, you notice a dark shape moving in the distance. You can’t tell how far away it is in the emptiness of this space, and you are unsure if it has noticed you. Where do you go?
